First published in 1938, this favorite hymnal has been a source of inspiration for singing in public and private worship. This collection of sacred songs continues to attract the interest of both the older and younger generations.
Life Songs No. 2 is still used and much appreciated by many congregations. It is especially useful for the plain groups who continue to promote Anabaptist-Mennonite forms of worship and singing. The music complements congregation, a cappella singing.
The book has 321 hymns and Gospel songs useful in a church setting as well as for cottage meetings, youth meetings, and in the Christian school. Also included are 22 familiar hymns, albeit without the music.
