    Anabaptist Bookstore in 2014

By Mark Roth on January 1, 2014 at 8:39 am

If you read the FAQ in 2013, you know this already:

What has happened to Anabaptist Bookstore?!

    Short answer: it collapsed.

    And this:

Meanwhile, we still have several thousand dollars’ worth of inventory which I’m trying to sell through our site. I want to use that money to clear accounts with 30-40 customers and 3-5 suppliers. If you’re one of those, I’m sorry. I haven’t forgotten, even after all these months. Thank you for your grace.

Because of income issues, I made very little progress on that in 2013. 🙁

In December I started the long, tedious process of listing mostly single-copy items which have been languishing on our shelves because they are used or freight-damaged. Hopefully that will help increase sales enough that I can resume paying back old customers and suppliers.

And perhaps this month I can also find some time to update the Amazon Associate section of the site. That might increase income a bit too.

Mostly, though, I want to increase my for-pay writing hours to 27 a week so that I have enough of that income leftover to go toward business debt pay-off. I would be thrilled to have all the principle paid off by year’s end; then maybe 2015 can be the year for paying off the interest on those debts.

Again, many huge thanks and blessings to all of you who have extended so much grace to me in the last 18 months!

And to each of you who have read this far in this blog post, thank you as well! If you have sufficient interest left, please check out my Used and Seconds listings on our site.
